Audra and Vijay, Palos Verdes Private Estate
On this beautiful Friday evening in Palos Verdes The Charming Little Event Company had the unique privilege of coordinating the cultural ceremony of Audra and Vijay. What an honor it was to be witnesses to such tradition. We were first in awe of how beautiful the amazing views were at this home but more importantly the stunning attire from the guests stole your attention. The most vibrant colors permeated the scene from each outfit to the decorative décor.
After the guests took part in a traditional Pooja ceremony they enjoyed some delicious food from Manohar’s Delhi Palace. The wonderful aromas of the Indian food were inviting the guests back for seconds and thirds. After dinner what a treat it was to see the talents being displayed in the Sangeet ceremony. There was singing, dancing, instruments played all to the rhythm of love for the couple. A gorgeous evening on many levels.
Thank you Audra, Vijay and your families for the experience and for sharing your beautiful culture with The Charming Little Event Company.

Let’s Get Crazy
Whoa! That was my first reaction to this homemade hair piece showcased by the Ruffled Blog.
You all know i’m big on incorporating your likes and whims into your big day, so i’m completely open to new ideas {yes, there is a BUT coming} But, hmmm, I am a little freaked out about the skull part.
What do you think? Very creative! Gotta give points for that. Another one for our “I do or I don’t” category!
Frills & Heels
Just look at this dress AND the shoes! Does it give you cute & frilly vibes? I love it…
Thanks to Sheena Jibson for another fabulous and fun photo!
The Fiesta Attire
Are you ready for the cutest little boy shirt ever? The family and I went out to the LA County Fair a couple weeks ago and as we browsed the “Olvera Street” themed area, my eyes fell upon this beautiful, yellow toddler’s guayabera.
The guayabera is a men’s (or in this case little man’s) shirt popular in Latin America. Also known as the “Mexican Wedding Shirt.”
He will look so cute!
Wedding Inspiration – The 60’s
Came across these lovely, 60’s inspired wedding pictures by Sheena Jibson. So pretty!
Just as a side note: Sheena wants to make sure her pictures are not taken from her site without the proper credit, as she should!! As I right-clicked on the photos, a message pops up that reads “Stealing is not ok. We all know where thieves end up.” Is that great or what?? Sheena, I want to make sure you get credit where credit is deserved, so readers: make sure to visit Sheena’s blog when you have a moment. Such awesome pictures to see.
Hair Feathering
Such a pretty accessory! Peacock feather hairpin by Tigerlilly
Add with a birdcage style veil for a more vintage feel:
Put On Your New Wedding Shoes
Stat of the Week: Bride’s shoes! Looks like the budget for this wedding necessity is quickly dropping. Would you agree with this drop in price or do you see bride’s actually spending more on their beloved shoes?
While we are on the subject, I wanted to showcase some of my favorite “shoe-shots” for you! Thanks to Jasmine Star and Trista Lerit for the photos!
Vintage Beautiful
Found these absolutely gorgeous photos from Ana Guziak’s blog
The green is a perfect color with the cream accents. Look for the vintage inspired brooch on the bride’s dress – love it!
Such Beautiful Beads!
I am in heaven browsing through the candy-licious jewelry at Mia Beads
