Natalie and Jose

Natalie, her mom Peggy, and I met long before her October 20, 2007 wedding date was set.  These two early-planners made sure they secured their vendors in plenty of time!  Natalie and Lisa (Lisa & Sal), are cousins, so it was great seeing familiar faces and being around their families again.

Natalie and Jose, like Lisa & Sal, hired Marlin Munoz for Photography.  These pictures are just a few of my favorites, but really: with Marlin and Marlene, every picture is awesome!

The ceremony was held at the St. John Baptists Roman Church in Costa Mesa, which recently went through a renovation and looks so beautiful.   After the ceremony, guests were invited to Miles Square Park for the reception dinner and dance.    The amazing florals and linens were provided by Kerim, from My Wedding Blooms

More thanks to Joyce Luck, who provided hair and make-up services for the bridal party, and Dirk from Studio West Videography.  I always enjoy working with Joyce and Dirk, as they are true professionals and just great people!

Caroline & Rick

As Caroline and I chatted over a cup of coffee, laughing, brainstorming and discussing the day’s plan, I knew her October 13th wedding would be a spectacular event.

Caroline is a talented florist and hearing about her ideas made me eager to help implement her vision.

For the ceremony at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena, Caroline created the most stunning and original floral and fabric pew decorations, using rich silver, silky fabrics and fresh orchids.  For the altar area, two large square boxes were filled with green moss, manzanita branches and orchids.  The final touch: satin ribbon wrapped around the bottom.

White manzanita braches, crystals, glass votive holders and abundunt candlelight created a warm glow and cast a winter wonderland feel at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club Ballroom.

Caroline and Rick entertained guests with a fabulous first dance, the picture that says it all is below!  I am honored to have shared in this couple’s day.  The love and energy between these two is so evident!

I had to throw in this great picture taken with my awesome Assistant Coordinator, Kym and the beautiful bride!

Many thanks to First Light Videoworks for capturing the details on video and to Doug Kim for the photography!

Thank You…

I searched for a Thanksgiving picture and got the above – it works!

Tonight, i’m on my way with my little family of three to visit extended family during the Thanksgiving holiday.

I want to wish everyone a beautiful and memorable holiday!  I am truly grateful for those that have choosen my team and me with their most special event details and those that have considered allowing us the honor to do so.

Where Do I Sign?

A personalized guestbook at any event is a great way to allow your guests to jot down some personal notes and inspiring words that you can take a look at long after your gathering has passed.

Many people choose to use a framed, engagement picture with an area for guests to write on.  There are also the fun, get-your-people-mingling, polaroid albums.

The Guestbook Store offers a great variety of styles, colors and formats.  You can pick your cover from a great selection, as well as the inside pages to match your theme and type of event.  And, as a special offer, from now until December 15th,  you can get 15% off of your order by using the promotional code: HOLIDAY

How cute is this one for the Holiday Party?

I attended a fun and festive event at Fusion Linens last night.  Angel, the General Manager, and a team of professionals put together one fabulous evening.

Blackjack tables, champagne and an awesome food display made my night!  I mingled, met fellow wedding professionals and got to browse Fusion’s showroom.

Thanks to Angel/Fusion for the fun!  Their showroom is in Lake Forest and I highly suggest a visit to see the great selection of linens and more.
