We had the privilege to travel up North to Santa Barbara to celebrate Kirstin and Kevin’s special day. The Charming Little Event Company was thrilled to be part of this joyful celebration at such a beautiful location. The Sunken Garden … Continue reading
As a girl wearing many hats at many times, I am so happy when a product and company comes along to make things easier for me. Easy, crafty and pretty – my kind of stuff! I’m browsing the beautiful paper lovelies at Minted and my wish list is growing by the second. Here are some of my favs:
These adorable, customized (choose design, shape, style) paper products will keep my kiddos happy when writing. My daughter loves to write lists, notes, and anything else she can come up with. With Minted’s many options to choose from, she can get matching thank you cards, personalized stationary and envelopes. So cool! I’m a true believer in the lost art of the hand written note. Since my children were able, I would have them at least draw a picture or write their name on a thank you card for any gifts received during birthdays and holidays. Now, my daughter can fill out her own thank you cards and she truly enjoys it. What a great way to keep that tradition going – using quality paper goods that make it more enjoyable.
Hello indeed! How awesome are these handy dandy and utterly fantastic calling cards? Completely useful when trying to arrange the playdates and meetings throughout the school year. Clever and cute and definitely on my wish list!
Minibooks, it is truly like having a personalized website in your hands! I love this idea and product. Such a great way to share just a few important details about the big day. Lots of designs to chose from and some coordinating products too. This would be your guest’s first glimpse of what’s to come on your wedding day, so it definitely makes a statement!
I really, really like getting cards in the mail, especially invitations. I know on-line invitations sites are super convenient and easy and cheap and all of that and I get it! I use it myself sometimes but for certain events, the E-Invitation system just doesn’t cut it. On the other hand, pricey and difficult to make paper invitations are sometimes not the preferred choice either, so I was joyed to see these fabulous birthday postcards. A perfect option when you want to send something in the mail that is stylish, affordable and fun. Look at the back of the card – I love it!
There are so many more goodies over at Minted that deserve taking a look – party decor, photo backdrops, cake plates, gifts, seasonal items and lots more. Enjoy!
Some consider it a lost art, the handwritten note. Such a little thing can mean so much! But wait, little? Maybe not so much when you are talking 150 thank you cards to wedding guests. However, it can and should be done.
Some tips to make the task a little easier:
*Make it fun by shopping around for the perfect thank you card stationary (if you didn’t order cards with your invites). Visit local paper stores like Paper Source and Sugar Press. Search on-line sites for tons of inspiration and ideas. Some of my favs: Lucky Orchid Wedding, Wedding Paper Divas, Hello Lucky.
* Start to prepare the cards in the months leading up to your wedding. Stamp and place your return address on them.
* Write out a thank you card as each gift arrives.
* Take turns! Have your spouse take part in the writing fun. This after-wedding job usually falls on the bride, but both of you can enjoy an evening of wine & writing. Throw in some reminiscing about the wedding day and you have yourself a truly romantic time!
For more tips on specifics like when, how and what with Thank You cards, visit the Wedding Paper Divas blog for some great, informative information.
This will be fun! The Paper Source Open House where you can view demos on how to create fabulous paper goods and even make & take an item of your own!
They also offer small workshops for a small fee if you want to target specific crafts like boxes or wedding favors.
Love, Love when couples look for original and exciting ways to spice up their events. Just like this London-based couple that worked with Ms. Fabulous Laura Hooper to create a puzzle Save-The-Date/Escort Table!
As part of their wedding ceremony, Alexa and Jorge had their save-the-date transformed into a huge puzzle that was used as an escort table. Guest’s table assignments were printed on the back of each piece with a coordinating puzzle key.
…. I’ve created a suite of pom pom themed printables that you can print and use for showers and parties. The set includes pom pom patterned paper that you can use as gift wrap, invitations that will fit into 4 bar envelopes, gift tags, and place cards that can also be used for a variety of purposes. And, because I love color and can never decide on just one, I’ve made the set available in a peachy pink, a warm gray, and a buttery yellow….
These are the cutest and talk about being eco-friendly! Each flower pin by Linda & Harriett is made from letterpress misprints.
Part of our Redesigned Line. Reconstructed by hand from letterpress misprints. Paper petals are sewn together with a gold button on top and pin back on reverse. All pins are about 4″ in diameter and vary in color.
These would be lovely for sweet table to-go bags!
Looking for the perfect little wedding favor box? PRINT YOUR OWN Gable Wedding Floral favor boxes with this printable PDF template. Measures roughly 2.5″ wide by 4.5″ tall. This design lets you add type, either your names or the date of the event, under the “Just Married.” Try adding a theme colored ribbon for that extra touch!
From Minted, this menu card is so country-chic and modern. You could also use as a Save-the-Date or invitation. More colors available!
This brilliant design allows you to personalize your menu card with your initials and a tag where you can write a message to your guests. Accompanied with an intricate floral design at the corner of the card.
