Now, That’s Charming!

If you are like me, paper goods are a thrill and you can’t get enough of the texture, color and design.  However, as most of us are very busy and have the hardest time finding the few minutes it takes to go out and buy cards – I found the perfect solution!

Jack Cards will send you the card of your choice before each important date, you fill in the text and mail it out, easy!  Visit their website to create a free account, enter the birthdays, anniversaries, etc. and choose designs for each.  The prices are very comparable to other stores, for example the choices I selected ranged from $2.50 to $5.00.

Their cards are easy to browse with categories like occasion, designer, recipient and style.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Color Series – White

White definitely does not have to mean blah and boring.  Incorporating white detail throughout your event can provide a bright, clean and wonderfuly romantic look to your day.

Ivory and cream colors mesh well with white florals and fabrics, as do punches of bright color like yellow and green.  You pretty much have an unlimited possibility so have fun with it!

Earth Day

Yesterday was Earth day and I remember it every year because my birthday is only days away from April 22nd – my special day is on April 25th.  This year on a Friday, how fun!

Anyway, my baby girl and I rode the bus to the Irvine Spectrum yesterday, instead of using the good ol’ mom SUV.  We had fun!  Teya loved sitting in her own little bus seat and staring at everyone around her, and she rides free so what a bargain $1.25 was.

I confess, I didn’t take the bus because it was Earth Day, as a matter of fact, I didn’t even think about it until we got home but I know for a fact we will be doing this again very soon!

People probably thought I was a total nerdy tourist but I just had to snap some pics. of my baby’s first bus ride!

Kym, one of CE’s lovely Assistant Coordinators, was proposed to over the weekend by her boyfriend of many years, Andrew.  Needless to say, she was ecstatic and I got a text message from her showing her beautiful and sparkly new engagment ring!

I’m so excited to help Kym plan her wedding, which we always secretly talked about anyway!  The spring of 2009 is when the big day is planned and i’m already working on lots of ideas.

Congratulations to Kym & Andrew!  Here is a picture from Kym’s blog.  Be sure to check it out to read Kym’s description on how it all went down – it is such a great story!

Caroline & Paul

What a gorgeous day March 15, 2008 turned out to be! We were worried a bit about the strong winds that had been whipping through the Palm Springs area,  however, there was not a worry to deal with at the wedding of Paul & Caroline.

Mission Hills Country Club provided a breathtaking ceremony background for the couple and their 125 family & friends.  The nuptuals took place at the edge of the blue lake, framed by majestic hillsides.  Seriously, this looked like a postacard image!  Mark, from You May Kiss the Bride officiated.

The reception took place inside the main clubhouse ballroom, showcasing floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the water and golf course.  The linens provided by Fusion were chocolate satin for the tables and champagne for the napkins and chivari chair sashes. The stunning florals and amber votives were provided by Keith, KJLaverty.

Danny, from NYC-DJs provided the ceremony and reception music, as well as the video and very fun slideshow!

And lastly, the photos, what can I say about the photos by Trista Lerit…  Trista is a lovely person and we have worked together on other projects like my baby’s photos and my headshots, which are fabulous!  Her style just rocks as you will see below in the following images.  Be sure to check out more of Caroline & Paul’s wedding and other fabulous events on Trista’s blog here
