Natalie and Jose

Natalie, her mom Peggy, and I met long before her October 20, 2007 wedding date was set.  These two early-planners made sure they secured their vendors in plenty of time!  Natalie and Lisa (Lisa & Sal), are cousins, so it was great seeing familiar faces and being around their families again.

Natalie and Jose, like Lisa & Sal, hired Marlin Munoz for Photography.  These pictures are just a few of my favorites, but really: with Marlin and Marlene, every picture is awesome!

The ceremony was held at the St. John Baptists Roman Church in Costa Mesa, which recently went through a renovation and looks so beautiful.   After the ceremony, guests were invited to Miles Square Park for the reception dinner and dance.    The amazing florals and linens were provided by Kerim, from My Wedding Blooms. 

More thanks to Joyce Luck, who provided hair and make-up services for the bridal party, and Dirk from Studio West Videography.  I always enjoy working with Joyce and Dirk, as they are true professionals and just great people!

Caroline & Rick

As Caroline and I chatted over a cup of coffee, laughing, brainstorming and discussing the day’s plan, I knew her October 13th wedding would be a spectacular event.

Caroline is a talented florist and hearing about her ideas made me eager to help implement her vision. 

For the ceremony at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena, Caroline created the most stunning and original floral and fabric pew decorations, using rich silver, silky fabrics and fresh orchids.  For the altar area, two large square boxes were filled with green moss, manzanita branches and orchids.  The final touch: satin ribbon wrapped around the bottom. 

White manzanita braches, crystals, glass votive holders and abundunt candlelight created a warm glow and cast a winter wonderland feel at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club Ballroom.

 Caroline and Rick entertained guests with a fabulous first dance, the picture that says it all is below!  I am honored to have shared in this couple’s day.  The love and energy between these two is so evident!

Fusion

I attended a fun and festive event at Fusion Linens last night.  Angel, the General Manager, and a team of professionals put together one fabulous evening. 

Blackjack tables, champagne and an awesome food display made my night!  I mingled, met fellow wedding professionals and got to browse Fusion’s showroom.

Thanks to Angel/Fusion for the fun!  Their showroom is in Lake Forest and I highly suggest a visit to see the great selection of linens and more.
